Sustainable seafood (MSC)
The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is a non-profit organization that judges whether a fishing process is well managed and sustainable. Generally in line with the MSC, the standards are based on the latest international scientific research and management methods that ensure responsible fishing practices.
MSC certification covers the entire food chain as well as the processing units that handle the products and are audited by accredited certifiers. When the fishery is carried out according to the required methods, it obtains the certification, and the product will be sold with the MSC blue label.
